Photography

The photographic collection has been formed since the 70s of the last century and its initiator was that day Gallery employee Vladimír Židlický. The collection grew on the photographs which were given as presents at different exhibitions or were bought. The collection has works of contemporary Slovak and Czech photographers : Miloslav Stibor, Zuzana Mináčová, Fedor Gabčan, Vladimír Židlický, Taras Kuščinskij, Jiří Horák, Pavel Dias, Jiří Havel, František Chrástek a others. Visitors can admire various photographic techniques and formats. The Gallery regularly organises exhibitions of significant contemporary photographers and the collection is being constantly completed by new pieces.
